2K1Soft analysed and developed a management tool for product
descriptions to enable BuroPLUS to simultaneously manage the product
information displayed on BuroPLUS.ca, its paper catalogues and its flyers.
This tool allows real time management of the information
contained in the electronic catalogue.

This tool allows the management of :

Bilingual descriptions;

Web display formats for the product;

This tool also allows BuroPLUS to seamlessly integrate the
creation of a paper catalogue, a flyer and an electronic catalogue with a data
export tool to a Quark Xpress script – Publishing tool).
This tool has also been developed for the Web, allowing
telecommuting and its use tool under a Mac OS.
Electronic catalogue

The electronic catalogue of BuroPLUS.ca allows the customer
to view complete information on the product.
The page contains all the products of a product group. In
this case, the products are all ballpoint pens. They include pens with fine
tips and others with middle tips, all different colours.
The page also displays the product’s availability as well as
the product’s quantities in inventory. The customer K-Nows their exact shipping
delays.
To attract the customer towards other purchases,
cross-selling and up-selling products are also displayed.

Express order
The Express Order is a popular tool often used by the
customer who knows the BuroPLUS product codes, the UPC codes, or the supplier
product codes. The customer can enter any product code he wishes to order
without any screen refreshes. This saves time because the customer doesn't have
to use the electronic catalogue and the shopping cart (slower method to enter
orders). When the user enters a BuroPLUS code, the cross-selling and up-selling
products are also displayed at the top of the screen, as well as the quantity
prices (if necessary). Finally, once the product code is entered and validated,
the customer only has the desired quantity to enter.
